SEE ALSO...

A1 Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the A1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A1 (B-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. A1 protein, also known as Bfl-1, is a member of the Bcl-2 family, which plays a crucial role in regulating apoptosis, a process essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and tissue integrity. A1 is primarily expressed in hematopoietic cells and dimerizes with both Bcl-2 and Bax, contributing to life-promoting properties. A1 expression is particularly important during myeloid differentiation, where A1 may provide survival signals in response to specific growth factors. A1 expression levels have been linked to various cancers, including stomach cancer, highlighting A1′s potential as a biomarker for tumor progression and a target for therapeutic intervention. A1′s ability to modulate cell survival under different physiological conditions underscores A1′s significance in both normal cellular functions and disease states, making anti-A1 antibody (B-3) a valuable tool for researchers studying apoptosis and related pathways.
