A cyclase VIII Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects A cyclase VIII in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A cyclase VIII plays a crucial role in the central nervous system as one of the three mammalian calcium-stimulated isoforms, with expression being region-specific, particularly high in the brain and lungs. A cyclase VIII is essential for converting ATP to cyclic AMP in response to various hormonal and neurotransmitter signals, which is vital for numerous physiological processes, including learning, memory, and anxiety modulation.
