A-7 hydrochloride is a potent CaM (calmodulin antagonist)which inhibits calmodulin-activated PDE activity with an IC50 of 3 µM. It is a potent isomer of the naphthalenesulfonamide family of CaM inhibitors. Naphthalenesulfonamides derivatives are neoplasm inhibitors.
