8-pCPT-cGMP, TEA is a selective membrane-permeable activator of cGKI (protein kinase G) that has a higher activation potential than cGMP. Does not significantly affect cGMP-regulated phosphodiesterases. 8-pCPT-cGMP, TEA inhibits the thrombin-induced phosphorylation of human platelets mediated by myosin light chain kinase (MLCK) and protein kinase C (PKC). Note: 25 μmol = 14.73 mg.
