8-Hydroxy Mirtazapine β-D-Glucuronide is a metabolite of Mirtazipine (sc-204088) as observed in rat and human hepatocytes. It has been proposed that the biotransformation occurs via the oxidative pathway with the use of the cytochrome P-450 system. The compound consists of 90% of the β isoform and 10% of the α isoform.
