A pre-activated derivative used in the introduction of the 7-methoxycoumarin (Mca) fluorophore during SPPS. The Mca group fluoresces at 405 nm (when stimulated at 340 nm), and is most commonly used in conjunction with 2,4-dinitrophenyl quenching group.
