QUICK LINKS

5-Phospho-D-ribose 1-diphosphate pentasodium salt has been used in a study to assess the relationship between the muscarinic receptor cationic current and internal calcium in guinea-pig jejunal smooth muscle cells. It has also been used in a study to investigate inhibitors of the bacterial cell wall biosynthesis of the enzyme Mur D. In scientific research, it is employed to study the structure, function, and regulation of enzymes, including those involved in nucleotide synthesis, energy metabolism, and signal transduction, as well as the regulation of gene expression, cell growth, and apoptosis. Caution: Loss of purity approx. 0.1% per day at −20°C, 3% per day at 25° C, 6% per day at 37° C.
