TNP-LPS (Lipopolysaccharide) is a 2,4,6-Trinitrophenyl hapten conjugated to lipopolysaccharide. It is found on the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria. TNP-LPS has been chemically modified by the addition of trinitrophenyl (TNP) groups to the polysaccharide portion, which allows it to be recognized by specific antibodies. This modified molecule is often used in research to study the immune response to bacterial infections and to develop vaccines against LPS-producing bacteria. Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 348 nmExtinction Coefficient at Lambda max: 15400/M/cm
