5,6-Dichloro-2,3-dicyanopyrazine (DCDP) is an organic compound belonging to the pyrazine family of heterocyclic compounds. It is used as a precursor for the synthesis of a range of organic compounds, including heterocyclic compounds, polymers, and dyes. It also serves as a catalyst for a variety of reactions, including the Heck reaction and the Suzuki reaction. In vitro studies have shown that 5,6-Dichloro-2,3-dicyanopyrazine can inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis.
