4α-Phorbol 12,13-Didecanoate is a substituted diterpene alcohol that does not show tumor promoting activities like the structural analog phorbol 12,13-didecanoate. This compound has been used as a negative control for phorbol 12,13-didecanoate (sc-202286), and has been shown to activate TRPV4 receptors.
