4-Methylumbelliferyl α-D-glucopyranoside is a fluorogenic substrate useful in the assay of α-D-glucosidase activity. 4-Methylumbelliferyl α-D-glucopyranoside is described to interact with both neutral and acid α-D-glucosidase activity in studies investigating Pompe's disease.
