QUICK LINKS

4-Hydroxy Propofol 1-O-β-D-Glucuronide is a metabolite of Propofol (sc-202774) modified at position 4 with an O-linked β-glycosidic bond. Propofol is a phenol derivative that is suggested to modulate the sensitivity of capsaicin (sc-3577) to the transient receptor potential vanilloid subtype-1 (TRPV1) receptor. TRPV1 is a Capsaicin receptor that behaves as a non-selective cation channel that is mainly found in the sensory neurons, and specifically detects painful stimuli, low pH and heat.
