A substrate used for Suzuki cross-coupling reactions.(3),(4) Boronic acid is used in a study of Suzuki aryl-aryl coupling of the upper rim of hexahomotrioxacalix[3]arene.(1) It is also used in a rhodium-catalyzed cyclization converting 1,5-enynes to cyclopentenes and spiro-cyclopentenes.(2) Contains varying amounts of anhydride.
