QUICK LINKS

Superior or comparable to the most popular coupling reagents reagent for activating carboxylic acids in solution and solid phase peptide synthesis. It is a yellowish-white powder that is easily soluble in water and other polar solvents. It′s used to create amides and esters through a single-step process. This compound is known for its selectivity, high yields, and its capability to be easily evacuated from the reaction mixture under reduced pressure. It plays a pivotal role in activating carboxyl polysaccharides for glucan production, functionalizing poly(acrylic acid) and poly(methacrylic acid) with amines to form amide bonds, producing glycoconjugates, and in linking propylamine and butylamine to hyaluronic acid. Additionally, it acts as a conjugating agent, effectively attaching PnPS to Luminex microspheres while preserving the antigenicity of a broad set of PnPS. It can be used as a coupling agent, a deprotection agent, or a cross-linking reagent, depending on the specific requirements of the reaction.
