(3-Aminopropyl)triethoxysilane is an adhesion promoter and adsorbent for affinity chromatography. Used in a preparation of a series of tenary composite films of polyimide/SiO/polydiphenylsiloxane with good optical transparency. (3-Aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES) is a highly utilized aminosilane for chemically modifying various surfaces, including alumina and silica. It acts as an effective adhesion promoter between polymers and substrate materials, facilitating strong bonding.
