How to request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) when it is not available online?
If you need a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and cannot locate it on the website, there's a straightforward process to acquire one. Here is how.
Check the website sitemap before making a request to ensure you've searched all available areas where COAs may be listed.
If your initial search is unsuccessful, the next step is to reach out for assistance. You can contact Customer Support via email, phone, or sometimes through a live chat feature.
Simply submit a request. When you contact customer support, you will need to provide the product name, batch number, and your contact information. Explicitly state you are requesting the COA for your specific item.
Remember to follow up, too. If you do not receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, don't hesitate to follow up and be sure to keep a record of your communications.
Follow these steps to get the COA you need even if it is not available online.

I've just received 1g of 3,4-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-carbaldehyde (sc-347353). It is in a gel form at room temperature. Looking at the other question/answer below can you provide the product in its fresh liquid form as we are not setup to distill the gel.

Thank you for your question. As with most aliphatic aldehydes this easily forms oligomers, hence the gel-like state. These oligomers are in equilibrium with the free aldehyde and in most reactions will behave as an aldehyde. If the free aldehyde is needed, this can be released by distillation immediately before use. If you are still in need of assistance, please reach out to Technical Service.

Turned into a gel-like solidThis is partly my fault, but our purchasing manager told me to freeze the product as soon as I received it (the material included with the chemical did not say to do this). After I did this, the chemical had turned into a gel-like solid that I was unable to melt despite leaving it in a water bath overnight. I emailed your customer service about this issue but received no reply. This was frustrating.
