3,3'-Dithiodipropionic acid di(N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) is a cleavable disulfide linkage-containing homobifunctional cross-linking reagent. Has typical molecular coupling to primary amines via buffered (pH 7.5) amide bonds.

(PubMed 3620449) reinvestigated studies using 3,3'-Dithiodipropionic acid di(N-hydroxysuccinimide ester) reagent to cross-link newly synthesized density-labeled histones into octameric complexes to determine the nature of histone deposition.
