SL-327은 세포 투과성 비닐로구스 시아나미드로서 MEK-1 및 MEK-2의 선택적 억제제로 작용합니다(IC50 = 각각 0.18 및 0.22 μM). 이 화합물은 MAPK/ERK 캐스케이드의 억제를 통해 해마 LTP를 차단하여 CREB 및 Elk-1 인산화와 LTP 의존성 유전자 유도를 방지하여 LTP를 빠르게 붕괴시키는 반면, ATP에 대해서는 경쟁력이 없는 것으로 나타났습니다. 또한 SL-327은 고농도로 사용할 경우 ERK1, MEK-3/p38, MEK-4, JNK 및 PKC 활성을 억제하는 것으로 나타났습니다.
