2-Pyridin-4-yl-benzo[h]chromen-4-one is a novel CFTR (Cystic Fibrosis Transmembrane Conductance Regulator) activator. In some cell lines that express the DeltaF508-CFTR, the effects of 2-Pyridin-4-yl-benzo[h]chromen-4-one compared to those of genistein (sc-3515) showed 2-Pyridin-4-yl-benzo[h]chromen-4-one to be more potent.
