2-Hydroxy Desipramine-d3 is a deuterated analog of 2-hydroxy desipramine, which itself is a major metabolite of the tricyclic compound desipramine. As a metabolite of desipramine, 2-hydroxy desipramine retains much of the parent compound′s tricyclic structure but includes a hydroxyl group that provides additional polarity.
