2-Amino-5-chloro-2′-fluorobenzophenone is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in organic solvents and slightly soluble in water. 2-Amino-5-chloro-2′-fluorobenzophenone is a phenoxazine that has been used as an analytical reagent. It is also a fluorescent compound. It is a starting material for the synthesis of diazepam and other benzodiazepines.
