2-Acetamido-6-chloro-9-(2′,3′,5′-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl)purine (ACRP) is a synthetic purine compound that has been used in scientific research for its wide range of applications. 2-Acetamido-6-chloro-9-(2′,3′,5′-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl)purine is a derivative of adenine, a nucleobase found in the nucleic acids DNA and RNA. It may act to increase the activity of adenylate cyclase, which is an enzyme involved in the synthesis of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP).
