2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-Octaethyl-21H,23H-porphine palladium(II) is a porphyrin ring bound by palladium used as a porphyrin dye and in catalysis. 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-Octaethyl-21H,23H-porphine palladium(II) is an organometallic complex consisting of a palladium(II) cation and an octaethylporphyrin ligand. This complex has been employed as a catalyst in the synthesis of diverse organic compounds, including amines and alcohols. Furthermore, it has found application in the preparation of polymer materials, such as poly(ethylene glycol) and poly(vinyl alcohol).
