2-(2,4-Diaminophenoxy)ethanol dihydrochloride is a cross-linking agent utilized in the manufacturing of emulsions. It exhibits the ability to bind with fatty acids, resulting in the formation of a calcium ion-insoluble precipitate. Additionally, this product serves as an efficient adsorbent for crystal violet, enabling the purification of fatty acids. To investigate its adsorption kinetics, the product′s interactions were studied using a diode at various wavelengths, with a wavelength of 700 nm proving most optimal for this purpose.
