    SEE ALSO...

17-β Estradiol 6 Antibody (4A7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects 17-beta Estradiol 6 of human origin by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-17-beta Estradiol 6 antibody (4A7) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this critical hormone. 17-β Estradiol is a potent mammalian estrogenic hormone primarily produced in the ovaries by granulosa cells, as well as in the placenta, testis, and potentially the adrenal cortex. The synthesis of 17-β Estradiol involves enzymatic conversion from precursors such as acetate, cholesterol, progesterone, and testosterone. 17-β Estradiol′s role extends beyond the regulation of reproductive systems and secondary sex characteristics; this hormone is also vital for bone growth, brain development, and the modulation of intracellular calcium levels and second messenger molecules. Research has shown that 17-β Estradiol exerts protective effects on various cell types following trauma-hemorrhage, enhancing circulation through aortic relaxation and exhibiting anti-apoptotic properties in endothelial cells. Additionally, 17-β Estradiol plays a significant role in mitigating hydrogen peroxide-induced apoptosis via estrogen receptor-dependent activation of caspases-9 and -3 in rat endothelial cells, highlighting this hormone′s importance in cellular survival and function.
