15(R),19(R)-hydroxy Prostaglandin E2 is the inverse or "unnatural" isomer at C-15 of 19(R)-Hydroxy-prostaglandin E2 (sc-201252). These 19-hydroxylated prostaglandins have been associated with selectively agonizing EP2 receptors, contrary to PGE2 (sc-201225), which can activate a variety of prostanoid receptor types. The ability of these 19-hydroxylated prostaglandins to selectively agonize EP2 receptors is useful in the deconvolution of EP-receptor function.
