QUICK LINKS

11β-Prostaglandin E2 is the C-11 epimer of PGE2 (sc-201225) and is a moderate inhibitor of PGE2 binding to rat hypothalamic membranes with a Ki = 53 nM. 11β-Prostaglandin E2 may act to stimulate bone resorption in rats and to inhibit PGE2 binding to the prostaglandin transporter protein Ki = 56 nM. These prostaglandin analogues are integral for structure-activity studies used in the deconvolution of these complex biochemical pathways.
