1-Benzoylpiperidine-4-carboxylic acid is a carboxylic acid substituted piperidine for proteomics research. It is metabolized by CYP450 enzymes and inhibits the activity of Fxa. It is also a strong 5-HT2A receptor antagonist. It is resistant to degredation by carboxylic acids and chloride ions.
