It is the disodium salt form of 1,2,4-Benzenetricarboxylic Acid 4-(2-ethylhexyl) Ester, which increases solubility. 1,2,4-Benzenetricarboxylic Acid 4-(2-ethylhexyl) Ester has been used to enhance the affinity of SERS silica particles to a DEHP-specific aptamer for improved detection efficiency of DEHP in various samples.
