Stat6 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Stat6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Stat6 antibody (D-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Stat6 plays a crucial role in mediating interleukin-4 (IL-4) signaling effects, which are essential for T helper cell differentiation and immune response regulation. Upon IL-4 binding to its receptor, Stat6 undergoes phosphorylation, leading to dimerization and nuclear translocation, where Stat6 activates transcription of genes involved in immune regulation and inflammation. This process is vital for Th2 cell development, which helps combat extracellular pathogens and contributes to allergic responses.
