    RNGTT Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RNGTT in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNGTT (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RNGTT, also known as RNA guanylyltransferase and 5′-phosphatase, HCE, HCE1, hCAP, or CAP1A, is a 597 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in mRNA processing by acting as a bifunctional mRNA-capping enzyme. RNGTT is primarily located in the nucleus and is expressed in various tissues, including kidney, lung, heart, brain, liver, testis, skin, and muscle, where RNGTT exists as four alternatively spliced isoforms. RNGTT′s dual enzymatic activities—RNA 5′-triphosphatase at its N-terminus and mRNA guanylyltransferase at its C-terminus—are essential for the initial steps of mRNA cap formation, which involves removing a gamma-phosphate from nascent mRNA and transferring the phospho residue to the 5′-diphosphate terminus. This capping process is vital for mRNA stability, nuclear export, and translation efficiency, highlighting RNGTT′s importance in gene expression regulation. The gene encoding RNGTT is located on human chromosome 6, which encompasses 170 million base pairs and constitutes nearly 6% of the human genome.
