SEE ALSO...

Na+/K+-ATPase β3 Antibody (46) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Na+/K+-ATPase β3 (46) monoclonal antibody is available as the non-conjugated isotype antibody. Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 protein is a crucial component of the sodium/potassium-ATPase complex, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 protein is primarily located in the plasma membrane of cells, where Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 plays a vital role in regulating ion gradients by transporting sodium and potassium ions across the membrane. Proper functioning of Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 is critical for various physiological processes, including maintenance of resting membrane potential, cellular volume regulation, and facilitation of secondary active transport mechanisms. Disruption of Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 function can lead to severe cellular dysfunction and is implicated in various pathophysiological conditions, including hypertension and heart failure. The β subunit of Na+/K+-ATPase complex not only aids in correct folding and membrane insertion of the α subunit but also plays a significant role in overall stability and activity of the enzyme, making Na+/K+-ATPase beta 3 a key target for research in cellular physiology and disease mechanisms.
