MLK3 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects MLK3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MLK3 Antibody (D-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. MLK3, also known as mixed lineage kinase 3, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in stress response regulation and cell differentiation. MLK3 functions as a non-receptor protein kinase spanning 847 amino acids and features a unique structure including an SH3 domain, essential for protein-protein interactions, and a leucine zipper basic region often associated with transcription factors. Proline-rich motifs in MLK3′s long carboxy-terminal tail enable interactions with other signaling proteins, influencing various cellular processes. Such interaction proves vital for signal transduction from growth factor receptors, ultimately affecting cellular responses to external stimuli. MLK3 shows widespread expression across different tissues and shares close relation to MLK1 and MLK2, highlighting MLK3′s significance in mitogen-activated protein kinase signaling pathways.
