SEE ALSO...

LLGL2 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LLGL2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-LLGL2 antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LLGL2, also known as lethal giant larvae homolog 2, is a crucial cortical cytoskeleton protein that plays a significant role in maintaining the organization and orientation of bipolar spindles during cell division, which is essential for proper mitotic processes. LLGL2 is part of a larger complex that includes LGN, protein kinase C i, and PAR-6β, and functions vitally for establishing epithelial cell polarity. In Drosophila melanogaster, LLGL2 is necessary for follicle cell differentiation, critical for proper ovarian development. In humans, LLGL2 regulates cell proliferation and has been associated with tumorigenesis, highlighting importance in cancer biology. Notably, LLGL2 phosphorylation during cell polarization may lead to segregation from PKC i and PAR-6β complex, influencing cellular dynamics and tight junction formation. LLGL2 is predominantly expressed in cytoplasm and localizes to perinuclear region of cells, underscoring roles in cellular architecture and signaling pathways.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with LLGL2 (A-4): sc-376857 monoclonal antibody?

Asked by: jenniferc
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
