    SEE ALSO...

Inscuteable Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Inscuteable protein of Drosophila melanogaster origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Inscuteable antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Inscuteable plays a crucial role in asymmetric cell division, particularly in Drosophila neuroblasts, where Inscuteable (C-8) monoclonal antibody is essential for studying proper orientation of mitotic spindles along the cell-polarity axis. This orientation ensures daughter cells receive the correct distribution of cellular components, which ultimately influences cell fate and differentiation. Inscuteable (C-8) antibody helps researchers understand how Inscuteable interacts with Partner of Inscuteable protein, facilitating the localization of basal proteins necessary for spindle orientation. The precise regulation of these processes is critical for normal development and tissue homeostasis, making Inscuteable (C-8) monoclonal antibody valuable for studying cellular dynamics and developmental biology.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390728 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
