GTAM1 Marker Antibody (B48.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GTAM1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-GTAM1 antibody (B48.1) is available in non-conjugated form. GTAM1, or gastrointestinal tumor associated marker 1, plays a crucial role in identifying malignant tumors, particularly in gastric carcinoma, which can arise in various parts of the stomach and metastasize to other organs such as the esophagus and small intestine. Accurate diagnosis of gastric carcinoma enables timely intervention and treatment. GTAM1 is specifically expressed in colon adenocarcinoma and ovarian mucinous carcinomas, making GTAM1 a valuable biomarker for distinguishing between benign and malignant conditions. GTAM1 presence in tumor membranes highlights potential as a target for therapeutic strategies and diagnostic applications, as GTAM1 is associated with unique protein expression patterns found in cancer cells. GTAM1 (B48.1) antibody enhances understanding of tumor biology and contributes to developing more effective cancer treatments.
