    SEE ALSO...

DCDC2B Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects DCDC2B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DCDC2B antibody (E-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. DCDC2B, or doublecortin domain containing 2B, is a 349 amino acid protein that belongs to the doublecortin family, characterized by two doublecortin domains that facilitate binding to tubulin and promote microtubule polymerization. This function is crucial for neuronal development and stability, as microtubules are essential components of the cytoskeleton that provide structural support and play a key role in intracellular transport. The gene encoding DCDC2B is located on human chromosome 1, which houses approximately 3,000 genes and is associated with various diseases, including certain cancers and genetic disorders. The importance of DCDC2B in neurogenesis and potential implications in neurodevelopmental disorders make DCDC2B a significant target for research. Anti-DCDC2B antibody (E-6) enables valuable insights into DCDC2B′s role in cellular processes and impact on health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514743 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
