CtBP 항체(E-12)는 웨스턴 블롯(WB), 면역침전(IP), 면역형광(IF), 면역조직화학(IHC), 효소결합면역흡착분석(ELISA) 등의 응용을 통해 쥐, 쥐, 인간 기원의 CtBP 단백질을 검출하는 쥐 단일클론 IgG1 카파 경쇄 항체입니다. CtBP(E-12) 항체는 비접합 형태와 아가로스, 과산화효소, 피코에리트린, 플루오레세인 이소티오시아네이트, 다중 알렉사 플루오르® 접합체를 포함한 다양한 접합체 형태로 제공됩니다. CtBP1 단일클론 항체(E-12)는 전사적 코어프레서로서 기능하여 유전자 발현을 조절하고 세포 항상성을 유지하는 핵심 세포질 인산단백질을 인식합니다. CtBP1(E-12) 항체는 아연 핑거-홈도메인 단백질인 δEF1과 상호작용하는 단백질을 표적으로 삼아 골격과 T세포 발달 과정에서 전사적 침묵을 강화합니다. CtBP1은 유방암 유전자 BRCA1의 BRCT 반복에 결합하는 단백질인 CtIP과 복합체를 형성하여 BRCA1의 활동에 영향을 미칩니다. CtBP1은 세포주기 및 DNA 손상 반응의 중요한 조절자인 p21 프로모터의 전사 활성화를 억제하여 세포 스트레스 반응과 잠재적인 암 생물학에 대한 중요성을 입증합니다.

Can CtBP (E-12): sc-17759 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, CtBP (E-12): sc-17759 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.

CtBP Antibody (E-12): sc-17759 detects a band of approximately 48 kDa (corresponding to molecular weight of CtBP) and is specific.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good experience with CtBP (E-12)I had good experience with sc-17759 (E-12). It is good for Western, IHC and co-IP. Based on product manual, this antibody (sc-17759) recognizes both CtBP1 and CtBP2. I did the CtBP1 and CtBP2 constructs and found this antibody (E-12) has a much higher affinity with CtBP1 than that with CtBP2, although both CtBP1 and CtBP2 are able to be recognized.
