Apg-2 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Apg-2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Apg-2 (A-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Apg-2, also known as HSPH1 or HSPA4L, is a member of the heat shock protein 110 family, which plays a crucial role in cellular stress responses. These proteins maintain cellular homeostasis, particularly under stress conditions, by preventing misfolded protein aggregation and facilitating proper refolding. Apg-2′s interactions with other proteins, such as HSP70 and HSP90, underscore its importance in the chaperone network that ensures protein quality control within cells.
