AGTRAP Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects AGTRAP of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-AGTRAP antibody (F-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. AGTRAP, also known as angiotensin II receptor-associated protein, is a crucial transmembrane protein primarily located in the Golgi apparatus, endoplasmic reticulum, endocytotic vesicles, and perinuclear vesicular structures. This strategic localization is vital for AGTRAP′s role as a negative regulator of the Angiotensin II type I receptor (AT1), as AGTRAP facilitates the internalization and desensitization of the receptor, thereby modulating Angiotensin II signaling. Such regulation is essential for controlling cell proliferation and transcriptional activity stimulated by Angiotensin II, which can have significant implications in cardiovascular and renal health. AGTRAP consists of 159 amino acids and interacts with RACK1 (receptor for activated C kinase 1), a relationship that assists in recruiting AGTRAP to the AT1 receptor. Additionally, AGTRAP has two isoforms resulting from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in various tissues, including the heart, kidney, pancreas, and thyroid.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it worksI received a free sample of this antibody a months ago. It was delivered promptly. The antibody works very well at a dilution of 1:1000, definitely can go to higher dilutions. I tested it in total Hek 293 cell lysates, loading 10 ug protein/lane. I observed a clear band at the expected molecular weight.
