uMtCK Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects uMtCK protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-uMtCK antibody (C-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. uMtCK, a mitochondrial-specific isoform of creatine kinase, plays a crucial role in cellular energy metabolism by facilitating the transfer of phosphate groups between creatine and adenosine nucleotides, thereby maintaining ATP levels in mitochondria where energy demand is high.
