Rap 1 Antibody (E-6) は IgG1 κマウスモノクローナル Rap 1 抗体 (RAP1 抗体または Rap1A/Rap1B 抗体とも呼ばれる) であり、マウス、ラット、ヒト由来の Rap 1 タンパク質を WB、IP、IF、ELISA で検出する。Rap 1 Antibody (E-6) は、ノンコンジュゲート抗 Rap 1 抗体のほか、アガロース、HRP、PE、FITC、Alexa Fluor® コンジュゲートなど、複数のコンジュゲート抗 Rap 1 抗体が入手可能です。Rasがん遺伝子はGTP結合タンパク質をコードし、培養中の不死化細胞を形質転換する能力を持つ。RAP1AとRAP1Bと名付けられた2つのRas関連ヒト遺伝子は、Rasタンパク質と同様のC末端Cys-Ali-Ali-Xaa配列を共有する95％相同タンパク質をコードし、哺乳類組織でユビキタスに発現している。Rasタンパク質の推定上の "エフェクター "ドメインは、その完全性が細胞形質転換に必要であり、推定上のエフェクタータンパク質GAPとの相互作用にも必要である。p21Rap 1はRas GAPと結合することにより、Rasのエフェクター機能を阻害すると考えられてきた。実際、p21Rap 1はp21Rap 1のGTPase活性に影響を与えることなく、in vitroでGTP依存的にRas GAPに結合することが知られている。p21Rap 1に特異的なGAPタンパク質が同定され、対応するcDNAが単離された。

Does this antibody detect unprenylated and total Rap1A?

Thank you for your question. Rap 1 Antibody (E-6): sc-398755 detects both unprenylated and prenylated Rap1A. It was raised against amino acids 140-174 of Rap1A.

Is the sc-398755 antibody a function-blocking antibody for Rap1, as was SC-65?

Hi, could you give the conditions for a WB with this antibody please ? (i.e PVDF or nitrocellulose membrane, milk or BSA) Also the citation listed in the datasheet does not mention this antibody. Cheers

Thank you for your question. The recommended protocol for Western blotting with this mouse monoclonal antibody, Rap 1 (E-6): sc-398755, is provided below. We recommend using PVDF (sc-3723) transfer membrane. For blocking and antibody diluent we recommend using 5% nonfat milk + TBST (TBS Blotto A: sc-2333). https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting There is one publication citing use of this antibody at this time, please see PMID: # 26785133. The "References" listed on the product data sheet are literature references used to write the general background information about the Rap 1 protein. These are not product citations for the antibody.

Works alongside irradiated samples/samples with small molecules really well. Looking to expand this to using alongside HTS platforms!
