HDAC8 Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects HDAC8 in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HDAC8 is a crucial histone deacetylase that is primarily localized in the nucleus, where anti-HDAC8 antibody (B-4) helps reveal its role in regulating gene expression by removing acetyl groups from histones, leading to chromatin condensation and transcriptional repression. This function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and influencing developmental processes, as aberrations in HDAC8 activity have been implicated in various cancers and other diseases.
