Datasheets
  • H2-Dd Antibody (34-5-8S) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a H2-Dd antibody provided at 100 µg/ml
  • raised against C57BL/6 x DBA/2 F1 hybrid splenocytes of mouse origin
  • recommended for detection of a conformational epitope on H2-Dd MHC class I found on the N terminal domains of α1 and α2 chains when complexed with β2 microglobulin of mouse origin by IP and FCM; non cross-reactive with H2Dd α chains synthesized in vitro
  • available conjugated to phycoerythrin for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP and m-IgG2a BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for H2-Dd Antibody (34-5-8S). These reagents are now offered in bundles with H2-Dd Antibody (34-5-8S) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

H2-Dd Antibody (34-5-8S) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects H2-Dd protein of mouse origin by immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-H2-Dd antibody (34-5-8S) is available as the non-conjugated format. H2-Dd protein is a crucial component of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, which play a vital role in the immune response by presenting foreign antigens to cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs). Located on the surface of cells, H2-Dd binds to peptides derived from intracellular proteins, allowing the immune system to monitor cellular health and detect infections or malignancies. The ability of H2-Dd to present a diverse array of peptides is essential for the adaptive immune response, as this enables recognition of a wide range of pathogens. Furthermore, H2-Dd interaction with specific receptors, such as murine Ly-49D and Ly-49A, highlights its importance in modulating immune responses and maintaining self-tolerance. Using H2-Dd monoclonal antibody (34-5-8S) in research can provide valuable insights into immune recognition mechanisms and MHC molecule roles in health and disease.
