SEE ALSO...

TROY Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TROY protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TROY antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TROY, a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) superfamily, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways that regulate cell survival and apoptosis. TROY interacts with tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 2 (TRAF2), which is essential for activating the NFkB signaling pathway, promoting cell survival. This interaction is particularly important in neuroprotection and tissue regeneration, helping to mediate responses to cellular stress and injury. TROY expression occurs in various tissues, including the epithelium of the brain, heart, lung, and liver, highlighting significance in both developmental processes and adult tissue homeostasis. TROY exists in several isoforms, with one truncated variant, TNFRSF19, lacking the cytoplasmic tail necessary for NFkB activation, providing a regulatory mechanism for signaling capabilities. These diverse functions and interactions underscore importance in understanding cell signaling complexities and disease implications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from specific band and greatI brought this antibody two month ago for WB. The band is specific and has no background when diluting it 1:500 in TBST. I detected its expression in Beas-2B/A549/H1299 cells. All in all, I strongly recommend it for others who will want to use it for research!
