TNFα-IP 2 Antibody (C-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TNFα-induced protein 2 (TNFAIP2) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TNFAIP2, also known as B94, is a 654 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in mediating inflammation and angiogenesis, particularly in response to tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) and other proinflammatory stimuli. TNFAIP2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and is involved in various cellular processes, including the regulation of cell signaling pathways that govern inflammatory responses. Proper localization of TNFAIP2 is essential for function, as this positioning allows for timely modulation of inflammatory signals, which is vital for maintaining homeostasis and responding to tissue injury.
