SEE ALSO...

p38 gamma MAPK12 Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects p38 gamma MAPK12 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p38 gamma MAPK12 (E-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. p38 gamma MAPK12, also known as MAPK12, plays a crucial role in cellular responses to stress and inflammation, acting as a key regulator in signaling pathways that control cell differentiation, apoptosis, and cytokine production. p38 gamma MAPK12 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where activation occurs in response to various extracellular stimuli, such as pro-inflammatory cytokines and environmental stressors. Cytoplasmic localization is essential for function, allowing rapid response to signals and modulation of downstream effects, thereby influencing critical processes such as cell survival and immune responses. p38 gamma MAPK12 interacts with other proteins in the MAP kinase signaling cascade, further amplifying roles in cellular signaling networks. Phosphorylation of p38 gamma MAPK12 on threonine and tyrosine residues is a vital post-translational modification that activates kinase activity, enabling phosphorylation of target proteins and propagation of signaling pathways essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with p38γ (E-4): sc-398546?

Asked by: cjMara
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
