    SEE ALSO...

NMNAT-3 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects NMNAT-3 in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NMNAT-3, also known as nicotinamide mononucleotide adenylyltransferase 3, is a crucial enzyme in the synthesis of NAD+, a vital cofactor in cellular metabolism that plays a significant role in energy production and maintaining cellular health. This 252 amino acid protein is predominantly localized in the mitochondria, where NMNAT-3 participates in essential metabolic processes, underscoring NMNAT-3′s importance in energy homeostasis and cellular signaling. NMNAT-3′s presence in the mitochondria suggests a direct involvement in mitochondrial function and regulation of metabolic pathways critical for cell survival and function. Additionally, NMNAT-3 can form homotetramers and is highly expressed in tissues such as the spleen and lungs, indicating NMNAT-3′s potential role in immune responses and respiratory functions. With two isoforms resulting from alternative splicing, NMNAT-3′s diverse functional capabilities make NMNAT-3 a key player in cellular metabolism, and anti-NMNAT-3 antibody (B-9) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying NMNAT-3′s role in various biological processes.
