IL-20Rα Antibody (EE09) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects IL-20R alpha of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-IL-20R alpha antibody (EE09) is available as a non-conjugated format. IL-20R alpha plays a crucial role in the immune response, particularly in inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, where IL-20R alpha is significantly upregulated. IL-20R alpha belongs to the class II cytokine receptor family, which includes 12 members that form various heterodimers to transduce signals for 27 different cytokines. IL-20R alpha pairs with IL-20Rβ to form a functional receptor for IL-20, as well as for other cytokines like IL-19, IL-24, and IL-26. IL-20R alpha shows high expression in skin, brain, and testis, and elevated levels in psoriatic lesional skin compared to nonlesional skin suggest IL-20R alpha′s potential as a therapeutic target. IL-20R alpha activates the signal transducer and activator of transcription (Stat) pathway, which is critical for mediating IL-20 and associated cytokine effects in inflammatory processes.
