hnRNP A2/B1 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects hnRNP A2/B1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). hnRNP A2/B1 plays a crucial role in pre-mRNA processing and is essential for proper mRNA splicing, which is vital for gene expression and cellular function. hnRNP A2/B1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where hnRNP A2/B1 interacts with pre-mRNA and splicing factors, influencing splice site selection and ensuring mature mRNA production. The ability of hnRNP A2/B1 to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm enables participation in mRNA transport and translation, highlighting hnRNP A2/B1′s importance in post-transcriptional regulation. hnRNP A2/B1 forms complexes with other hnRNP proteins, contributing to dynamic regulation of gene expression in response to cellular signals.
